Russian sports Disability Alliance

All-Russian public organization "Russian Union of Disabled Sports" (Rssii).

Today, the most important in the system of socio-psychological rehabilitation of people with disabilities become its active form. One of the most effective of its species is the physical rehabilitation by means of physical culture and sports. That is why September 25, 2006, it was decided to establish a Russian Union of Disabled Sports, which was the sole founder of the All-Russian Society of Disabled People - the largest public organization of persons with disabilities in Russia, with more than 2 million people. The structure Rssii are dozens of physical culture and sports of the regional organizations that are regularly carried out mass sports activities, provide training leading athletes to participate in national and international competitions.

The main projects of the Russian Union of disabled sports:

• Sport and sports festival in Sochi;
• Open Cup of Russia on basketball in Kazan;
• Tourist meetings in the regions of Russia;
• Sports and athletics in the federal districts of the Russian Federation;
• The project "The sky is open to all", received in November 2017 supported the presidential Grants Fund.

Since December 2011 Rssii is a member of the Russian Paralympic Committee.
